Mother Spills Danson Tang Liked Cecila Cheung

Artist Danson Tang yesterday held a book signing function, his mother that does not like to appear in public specially came on stage to give him flowers, filial he is says if he has a girlfriend, he must have his mother agree to the eye first, his mother exposed saying that Danson use to really like Cecilia Cheung, and as for the rumoured older sis younger brother relationship with Lan Xin Mei, anxious to get sperm for pregnancy, was asked if willing to do a helping hand? Danson gave the question to his elders, his mother shyly said: "that's a little difficult ye!"

Finally, the pairing of Jackie Chan and Jet Li - in a story about someone else

During a fight with local Boston bullies, high school kid/kung fu movie buff Jason (Michael Angarano) magically disappears and reappears in ancient China, where a kung fu master (Jackie Chan) says that he must free the long-imprisoned Monkey King (Jet Li) by bringing a powerful item to a dangerous mountain. Jason’s allies are the not-so-silent Silent Monk (Li) and the mildly flirtatious Golden Sparrow (Yifei Liu) as they take on hordes of soldiers, an immortal war lord and an immortality-seeking witch—whose hair looks stolen from Halle Berry’s “X-Men” wardrobe.

Big question: Is the first-ever flick starring two martial arts legends as exciting as it could be?

Skip it: Apparently someone thought it was more entertaining for Li to urinate on Chan than for the two to square off. (No joke.) The masters fight each other only once, early on, which eliminates any anticipation and leaves the pair to battle stock villains in support of a story that feels like a mix of “Lord of the Rings” and Chuck Norris’ “Sidekicks.”

Catch it: If you agree with Golden Sparrow’s claim that, “It is said that music is a bridge between Earth and heaven.” Ancient disclaimer: Myth may not apply if the bridge is built with Daughtry songs.

Bottom line: The one Li-Chan showdown delivers, and Angarano’s (“Man in the Chair,” “Snow Angels”) good at controlling the wonderment of an innocent kid learning the ways of the world (or a warrior). But whether or not a teen can take down a bully after learning from great teachers isn’t especially compelling when those teachers have bare-bones backstories and comic timing that's not nearly as precise as their moves.

Bonus: An elderly salesman of bootleg kung fu movies (Chan) assumes the only martial arts film a teenager like Jason cares about is “Crouching Tiger, Spanking Monkey.” It’s the epic tale of a technique that many practice but few truly master.

Rain undergoes intensive training for Ninja Assassin

Rain hasn’t eaten rice since the end of last year and has been living on chicken breast, raw fish, sweet potatoes and salad.

The 26-year-old Hallyu star eliminated carbs from his diet to prepare for his first Hollywood lead role in Ninja Assassin.

“Because of his diet and training, he has lost about 12 kilograms,” a J. Tune rep divulged.

The Energizer Bunny flew to Berlin, Germany on March 7 and has been busy preparing for his role ever since. He starts training for his action sequences at 6am and only stops after a good 10 hours of practice.

Ninja Assassin is an action flick produced by the Wachowski Brothers and Joel Silver.

Apart from that, Rain is set to have a fling with Hollywood in the upcoming Speed Racer, where he has a supporting role as Taejo Togokhan.

Joey Yung Denies Suspicious Relations With Denise Ho and Meter Chan

Completing her concert with colours flying, Joey Yung today reflected upon her experience. Many guests included Hins Cheung, Jan Lam, Freeze, Cathy Leung, Vinci Wong, Sherman Chung and William Chan (Sun Boyz). Most notable among those guests however, was the fact that Denise Ho hid in the control room to watch the show in order to avoid rumours. Joey's rumoured boyfriend also attended, along with a female partner which caused commotion.

The 4-part "Joey Startlight Concert 2008" pushed Joey to extremities that haven't explored before, including hard dances all the while singing. Twice did Joey nearly fall, and there was even a time when Joey's earphone stopped working altogehter. Thankfully, Joey's professional skills allowed the show continue and fans hardly realised something was wrong. Strangely however, Joey seemingly kept looking at the control room. Later, as the press investigated, it was found Denise Ho was actually watching the concert in that very same room Joey kept glancing at. However, by the time reporters arrived, Denise has "flashed" away.

At the post-concert party, Joey admitted to Denise's appearence and provided an explaination for hiding in the control room, "haha, she came in late and couldn't find a seat!"

(Denise seems to support you a lot, coming to two shows of four!)
"OK, I just have good relationships with people!"

(What about Meter? Envy about his girl?)
"Haha, it was me who gave him two tickets, is the girl beautiful?"
(Very!)
"That's good, he deserves it"
(Jealous she might be hotter than you?)
"Its very easy to be hotter than me"

When reporters gave Joey a picture of Meter and his female partner, Joey commented, "Wow! She looks very wild! But Meter looks severe towards her haha". Joey's last concert is already avaliable on youtube in 20 segments, including the encore.

Joey Yung: "Greatest Show Ever, I Will Have No Regrets"

Joey's 4-part concert ended brilliantly yesterday (April 15, 2008). For 4 days, many red-hot artists came in support of Joey, such as Hins Cheung, Denise Ho, Jan Lam and Robert Lau. Albert Yeung also attended with his wife.

Immediately after the concert, Joey went on her blog and posted a message: "Wow, it is the last show already, at first I thought I wouldn't get a feel for 4 shows. But as I stepped onto the stage my feeling came back, and seeing all my beloved fans I feel there shall be no regrets ever in my life".

First Solo Concert For Gary Chaw

KUALA LUMPUR: He may be making waves in Taiwan right now, but for singer Gary Chaw Ge, he only had one destination in mind for his first-ever major solo concert – Malaysia.

The 29-year Sabah-born Chaw will kick off his upcoming five-stop Gary Chaw Asia Live 2008 concert tour at the Putra Indoor Stadium in Bukit Jalil on June 28, with the remaining stops being Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.

Announcing the news during a video conference from Taipei yesterday, Chaw said that there was never a doubt in his mind that his debut concert would be anywhere else but Malaysia, despite the fact that many of his peers had opted to hold their solo concerts either in Hong Kong or Taipei first.

“I’m a Malaysian, and it’s always been my dream to hold my debut concert in Malaysia. To me, it doesn’t make sense to hold the concert anywhere else,” he said.

Although he was reluctant to reveal details about the concert, he did say that it would be produced by a top producer from Hong Kong and would also feature a guest artiste performance.

Chaw released his debut album Blue in 2006, and has since proven to be one of the most popular Malaysian male artistes based overseas, releasing two more albums including his latest, Super Sunshine earlier this year.

Last year, he was chosen to perform in a show commemorating the tenth anniversary return of Hong Kong to China, the only Malaysian to perform at the show.

Chaw’s Malaysian concert will be organised by Golden 1 Entertainment. Ticketing details will be released in early May, but fans can place pre-orders for tickets by contacting Axcess Ticketing at 03-77115000 or visiting www. axcess.com.my.
