In “Fated To Love You,” Ethan Ruan kisses the crying Chen Qiao En? Laughing Ethan Ruan says, “After filming the bed scene, the two of us are no longer embarrassed, we’re easily loose, and don’t need to drink red wine to calm ourselves. Filming a kissing scene/drama is now very natural for us.” However, over three hours, Chen Qiao En cried until her eyes were swollen. She says, “Because there are two pages of crying scenes in the script, for the sake of keeping the right mood, I cried it all out.”

Cyndi Wang to practise her biceps
SETTV's idol drama, 「我愛珊寶妹」"I Love Shan Bao Mei" once again unites onscreen couple, Nicholas Teo and Cyndi Wang. However, the show's female lead, "Shan Bao Mei" is required to act weird to the extreme and thus, rumour goes that other than Cyndi Wang on the pocket list, Joe Chen Qiao En is also another choice for the role.

Jimm Lin to release new EP and go on concert tour (Has his own way of conducting business)
After the news that Jimmy Lin is going to release his EP this year came out many distributors wanted to work with him. But his manager, Grace, said “There are 2 more songs to be recorded. We are still considering which distributor to work with. Because some of his songs already have other distributing channels we don’t rule out other distributing means.”
Jimmy formed Jimmy Creative in 1996 in Taipei to manage his own showbiz contracts. In the past few years he expanded his work to the Chinese market and opened an office in Beijing in order to facilitate contracts negotiation. All his contracts are managed by Grace. Recently, many agencies announced that he is their contracted artist and conducted business deals using his name. “These are all frauds. Jimmy never signed any contracts with other agencies. In fact, they caused us some problems in our business dealings. However, we are willing to work with other professional groups.”
The MV “Can’t Stop Me’ that was released in 2006 was created by jimmy and his director friend. This time he again is going to produce it himself. He has invited the prominent music critic 崔恕 to write the lyrics and the prominent US musician Keith to produce a tv commercial for a well-known soft drink he is endorsing. Jimmy is also recording the opening theme song of the TV series ShaoLinSi 2. “I like to get involved in the production side of my work so I can learn something new from other professionals. It helps me in my performance.” Many actors become directors. Jimmy said humbly that he’s still learning. As for his company’s future plans, it will nurture new talents and work with other production companies on a TV series about racing. Jimmy has his own way of running a business and he’s continuing to learn and following his dream.
He just finished a photo shoot at 汕头 and has returned to Taiwan for the recording. Besides his new EP he is working on a concert tour. He’s also negotiating commercial appearances and endorsements. He is looking over several TV series scripts. One of them is an idol series about the lives of foreign students in the US. It will be filmed in San Francisco. The new movie 《跳动爱情的密码》is also waiting for him to be available before it starts filming. His schedule is so full he has not a moment of free time.
(In 2008, jimmy is putting his racing career on the side and returning to showbiz. It's a pity. I love to see him race. Maybe he already got a 1st and a 2nd place in the ZhuHai Pan Delta Forumla race in March and he is happy with that.)

Kwon Sang-woo Drops Lawsuit
Korea's heartthrob kwon Sang-woo dropped his $1.9-million lawsuit against his former agency. Kwon and his ex-agency Best Flow (formerly Yuri International) have been locked in an eight-month legal battle over the allegation of Best Flow pocketing Kwon's share of profit worth 1.9 million dollars. Best Flow had also sued Kwon for defamation and embezzlement, but this suit has been withdrawn as well. The two sides also agreed not to launch any civil or criminal suits over these matters in the future.
Kwon's current representative Golden Thumb Entertainment said that there was no reason to continue the legal suit, since the management at Best Flow has been replaced with new people. The amount of profit due to Kwon has also been settled amicably. Now that Kwon is freed from the legal headache, he is getting ready to shoot a new TV series to be aired in August.

Bruce Lee Highlights Chinese Martial Arts Stamp Album
Portraits of late Hong Kong action star Bruce Lee were included in the newly published Chinese martial arts stamp album to pay tribute to his contributions to promoting Chinese martial arts to the world.
The China News Services reported that the stamp album, published on Friday, is the first one introducing Chinese martial arts systematically to the world using stamps.
Including the origins and development of martial arts, and also its content and categories, weapons and skills, famous masters, places, and etc., the album offers a full-scale description of Chinese martial arts.
The publication of the stamp album is also to celebrate the upcoming Beijing 2008 martial arts competitions, which will be held at the Olympics in summer.
