Turtles Member Dies of Heart Attack

3-member pop group Turtles' leader, "Turtle Man" (Lim Sung Hoon), has died due to a heart attack.

Lim's manager went to Lim's house at about 2:30 pm (Korea time) today, and found him without a pulse. Lim's manager said that they had an appearance scheduled, but that Lim wouldn't pick up his phone and his house was locked. "I got a locksmith to get the door open and I saw him laying on his bed; I assumed he was sleeping," said the manager. But when Lim wouldn't wake up, he realized that Lim wasn't breathing and called an ambulance. The hospital said that Lim had died about 5~6 hours before he was found.

Many singers in the industry came to his funeral including the two female members of Turtles, DJ DOC's Kim Chang Ryul, Hwang Bo, Go Young Wook, and many others. His mother showed much devastation due to his sudden death, as did everyone.

S.H.E return to work after break , no stop earning money

S.H.E’s Hebe welcomed her 25th birthday today; this is S.H.E’s seventh year in the line! Yesterday when Hebe return to work with her two Laopos in Taipei for the shooting of a fast food ad, she sighed, “Time past really fast, I’m another year older.” Despite Hebe’s sigh, the 3 won the advertiser over with their energetic and healthy image and replaced idol LeeHom Wang and good friend Elva Hsiao as the endorser for China area, earning a handsome 8 digit figure into their pockets. Regarding the recent rumour of “Tie Xiong Nan”, the recording company once again said, “All of them are good friends, everyone is thinking too much.”

After ending the approved leave from the recording company, S.H.E is back with a lot of busy schedules! As the plan have been postponed to summer break there is a big chance that they will clash with the other artistes who release their albums, regarding this S.H.E laughed and said, “We are not worried at all. We clashed with Stefanie Sun in 2003 and 2004; it’s actually very fun to attend activities together!”

Their junior, Liu Li Yang will be going to Taiwan next month to release her album. S.H.E revealed that they will definitely attend her promos if they have the time because her voice is really special and she has a character of her own too. They even wished that her album will sell well and sent their encouragements. After ending their 3 weeks break, S.H.E will be back working through their packed schedules. Recently they have gone to the hospital to take some immunisation jabs and had a body check. They also urged everyone to take care of their bodies. S.H.E have also bought their families on a trip to Hualian, the trio who know how to enjoy life and share the enjoyment have indeed grown up a lot.

South Korean singer-actor Jung Ji-hoon, also known as Rain, has announced an April 23 visit to Hong Kong to promote his first Hollywood film, "Speed Racer."

The pan-Asian star chose Hong Kong as the only Asian stop on his promotional itinerary out of his love for the city, Web site Sina.com.cn reported on Wednesday.

"Speed Racer," a work by "The Matrix" directors the Wachowski brothers, is slated to open in Hong Kong and North America in early May.

Jung plays a rookie racer in the live-action film adaptation of a Japanese animation. The film also stars award-winning Chinese actress Yu Nan as Jung's sister, and Hollywood stars, including Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, and Matthew Fox.

Charlene at aiyaya signing ceremony, talking about Twins plan

Charlene Choi yesterday attended the Aiyaya opening/signing ceremony at Guangzhou. The event was a big success filled with laughters everywhere, Aiyaya express their excitement for Charlene to be thier advertiser by giving her a mini-crown, the meaning of her princess status for the brand. Moreover, Charlene herself express that putting on a crown is many female's dream, including herself to become a princess. The event attracted many reporters, however, many reporters were more interested in the reason why only Charlene was invited and not Twins as a whole.

Previous reports stated that Twins were part of the 7 figure contract with Aiyaya. The definite respond was after the "Colorful aperture," the company have requested to only use Charlene as their spokeperson. This report made reporters believe that it might be the end of Twins domination in the advertisement industry, before they were able to attracted fans from all ages, but now using Twins as a whole is limited to some companies. Kim Myung Min and Lee Ji Ah in Korean version of Nodame Cantabile

Korean actress, Lee Ji Ah who became a rising star thanks to her role in last year’s epic drama, Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi has decided on her sophomore drama.

Six months after wrapping up the long and ardous filming for MBC’s Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi fantasy drama, Lee Ji Ah will return to our screens with charismatic actor, Kim Myung Min in MBC’s new drama, “Beethoven Virus”.

Beethoven Virus talks about a group of young people and their love for classical music. Because of it’s classical music theme, it’s been said that this is the Korean version of popular Japanese manga/anime, “Nodame Cantabile”. Lee Ji Ah plays a violinist with a “refined” and “feminine” outward appearance but yet possesses a lively and mischievous personality. Kim Myung Min as a strong-willed, perfectionist orchestra conductor. Other casts are yet to be decided.

“Beethoven Virus” is receiving lots of attention because it’s a comeback for both Lee Ji Ah and Kim Myung Min. This drama will be directed by Lee Jae Kyu of “Damo” fame. Since being confirmed for the drama, Lee Ji Ah has been taking violin lessons to look natural while playing the instrument.

The 16 episodes mini-series, “Beethoven Virus” is scheduled for July 2008.
