Jay Chou's Olympic song (千山萬水) most well-accepted

During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games 100-day countdown, the Officials has announced 30 songs that are nominated including that of Jay Chou's, Lee Hom's, Emil Chou's works. Jay Chou's 「千山萬水」is selected as one of the Best Olympic Songs. It was reported that Jay's solo performance was outstanding.

Over 100 Hong Kong, Taiwan and China artistes gathered at the Forbidden City Imperial Temple, Beijing, sang the Olympic Theme Song "Welcome Beijing" in unison. Amongst the artistes who sang were Lin Zhi Ling, Jackie Chan, Emil Chou, Jolin Chai, Stephanie Sun, FIR, and others.

2008 Beijing Olympics is less than 100 days counting down, although the Officials has announced the 30 nominated songs, the final decision as to who will sing the Theme Song has yet to be determined. Hence, the Central Committee Television conducts an online poll activity via CCTV portal to determine who sings the Olympic Theme Song. From the current poll results, Jay Chou is at present leading the poll at 2nd place. Currently leading the poll is Faye Wong.

BB Lucas Offered Jobs Already?

Lucas Tse (謝振軒), son of Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) and Cecilia Cheung (張拍芝), has been approached with job offers by more than one company, Chongqing Morning Post reported.

The newspaper said that three companies that produce infant milk powder are vying to sign Lucas as a spokesmodel – seven-digit fees have reportedly been offered.

It is reported that Nicholas has been asked to appear alongside his son in advertisements.

Last month, Nicholas, Cecilia and Lucas were photographed arriving back at Hong Kong airport. It was the first time that the whole family had been caught on camera in public since Cecilia was implicated by the Edison Chen (陳冠希) sex photos scandal in January.

Lucas looked the epitome of cool in a BAPE beanie hat and Adidas sneakers.

Jerry Yan's Starlit filming officially starts in Shanghai, to be broadcasted in NHK Japan

It was reported that the filming of Starlit has officially started with Guan Ying in Shanghai, and Jerry will join the team in Mid May. Guan Ying's agent stated that the rumor of having problems with female leads was not heard and the production team had promised that Yan Cheng xu would absolutely join the cast.

(skipped the part about Guan's bringing a lot of TWese snacks to Shanghai)

Starlit will be broadcasted on NHK in November

In order to welcome the 2 special VIPs, Yan Cheng Xu and Gang Yin, the production team has prepared special transportation and security guards for them, and promised that filming will limit to fewer than 10 hours per day. As it will be broadcasted on NHK in Japan in November with one episode per week, 2 Japanese audio technicians were sent to Shanghai to make sure the sound quality reach the Japanese standards.

The producer indicates that the filming will take place in Shanghai for 2 months. Then the filming will be held in TW and the filming sites will be mainly in Jiu Fan. As soon as Yan Cheng Xu receives the phone call from the director, he will leave for Shanghai.

Koreans upset at Rain being named as Japanese pop megastar

Korean megastar Rain plays Taejo Togokhan in Speed Racer and because it’s a Japanese name, he has been mistaken to be a Japanese instead of Korean.

Rain was in England recently to promote his debut Hollywood movie and this was what was wrote about his role in the movie:

"Japanese pop megastar Rain appears as Taejo, a competing racer. The film will, undoubtedly, do well in Japan as a result."

Koreans who learnt of this was furious and said that the person writing the review was not knowledgable enough and hurt their pride.

Although Rain is exceptionally popular in Asia, he’s just only getting starting in Europe and America. The movie review by British website, “Den of Geek” has led to cries by Koreans saying, “Rain is Korean!”.

Joe Cheng adores his mother and sister

His parents was divorce when he was small, after he has grew up, he had moved to Taipei to work and has been living with his mother. He especially values his family very much and has developed a very, very closed relationship with his mother and sister.

Mother’s day is just around the corner; lately Xiao Zhong has been busy doing overseas promotion for his idol series and for sure that he doesn’t has the time to spend mother’s day with her. Zheng Yuan Chang who is now more filial and thoughtful, was actually a very willful child and likes to follow his mother. One time while he was at school and he happens to pee in his pants, he didn’t allow the teacher to change for him; instead he wants his mother to rush to the school and changed it for him. There’s another time when he just woke up from his afternoon nap and could find his mother, because of that he had a big tantrum and started to throw things and ruined the furniture too. But after his parents was divorce, Xiao Zhong seems to have mature a lot, even though at one point he was unable to accept it and hide under the cover and cry together with his sister but this incident has allow him to mature and independent. Before his reached the age of twenty he has already moved from TaiChung to Taipei to work.

Maybe because he has used to leave with his sister and father and then with his mother after he moved to Taipei, Zheng Yuan Chang values his family a lot and plus the time which he spent with his mother as well. Although he still rely on his mother in his daily life but once Xiao Zhong is free, he will take his mother to have foot massage or watch a movie together; trying to please his mother as much as possible.

Because of their parents getting divorce, Xiao Zhong treasures his relationship with his sister a lot. When they were small, their father will be busy with work so as days go by they have developed a habit of taking care of each other. Until now, sometimes the both of them will purposely wear nice dresses, tuxedo with bowtie or even dressing up in a very formal way. Then they will go to those places like Ruth Chris to order some nice steak. This time after finishing his oversea promotion, he plans to play this game with his mother. Firs he would give his mother a SPA treatment, have a nice makeover. Then after that they will go out for dinner together.

From greeting cards which he had drawn when he was small until now turning into perfume, health products, bag and now even considering about jewelries, gold or even SPA treatments plus high class restaurant; as he becomes older and getting more income, Zheng Yuan Chang’s present for mother’s day has become more and more luxurious. But no matter what, the only thing that wouldn’t change will be the way he shows his love for his mother.

Fated To Love You fans meeting session, Chen Qiao En reveals that Ethan Ruan loves knocking on her door at night

TTV and SETTV idol drama "Fated to Love You" held a fans meeting session. Ethan Ruan gave Chen Qiao En a bouquet of carnations to wish her Happy Mothers Day. River Chen celebrated his birthday under the blessings of the fans. The two sticky note girls voted by the netizens also met face to face with Qiao En. Qiao En saw all the overly excited fans and ended up revealing that "When filming in Shanghai, Ethan Ruan loved knocking on my door at night!"

Chen Qiao En, Ethan Ruan and River Chen just came back from filming in Shanghai and immediately held a Spring edition's fans meeting session. River's birthday is next week and Qiao En didn't neglect this character who cared so much about her in the drama. Qiao En specially ordered a birthday cake to help him celebrate his birthday in advance. River coolly said that "I don't celebrated birthdays." However, he was touched by Qiao En's actions and thoughts and even took down his ring to give Qiao En. "Then I'll give you my ring!" Qiao En's eyes immediately shot towards Ethan and proudly said that "Ethan will get jealous if you do that!"

As the drama has just finished filming in Shanghai, the three leads started talking about the interesting things that took place in Shanghai. The fans wanted Qiao En to reveal some gossips about the filming period and Qiao En was forced into admitting that "Ethan loves knocking on my door at night!"
When Ethan heard her, he immediately started to clarify "You must state things clearly! I was only borrowing your soap!" Qiao En stood at the side and laughed, ignoring his explanation. Qiao En also said that "When filming in Shanghai, every night was a lonely night. Which is why there were a lot of couples formed during this period!" Ethan laughed and said "When filming in Shanghai, River and I had a few scenes which we had to fight over Qiao En. I was hit really badly!" River coldly replied that "You had a lot of even more romantic kisses with Qiao En. All the good stuff went to you already. So what's so bad about me hitting you a few times!"

Chen Qiao En didn't forget to call for the devoted fans to stay tune. "This week's episode will have a large turning point. Bianca will appear and the real rectangular love will be starting! I guarentee that the plot will have more hilarious and interesting scenes. I'm going to act as a chicken!" Ethan also added that "This week's episode has more stuff, after viewing the episode, you can watch the NG scenes. It will definitely get everyone laughing!"

Joe Cheng holding tight to the girl to proof that he is strong; showing off his strength and makes everyone screamed

Yesdaterday May 1st, Zheng Yuan Chang, Eddie Peng and Lego Li appeared in [The Blackie Show]. During the show Zheng Yuan Chang makes his apology to his formal Chinese teachers about his earlier incident for his mistake in using the wrong words. And during the “Chinese Test” that was conducted in the show he was able to go through it successfully and cleared his name for the mistake take he has make the other day. Other than that, they also mentioned about Zheng Yuan Chang having wobbly legs while holding Tarcy Su, and to proof that he doesn’t has wobbly legs, he immediately hold one of the girls who weight 54kg and took a few steps to show off his strength; making all the girls screaming non-stop.

Other than that, that day happens to be the host, Blackie’s birthday, some of his closest friend like the singer Wang Hong En and Lin Zhi Jie called Blackie to go to the resting room during his free time and bring out a birthday cake with lighted candles while singing birthday to him.
