Wu Zun Misses Mother ~ Cries infront of 700 Fans

Fahrenheit's international website held an establishment function, about 700 fans from different countries all crowded together at the Nangang Civil Sports Center, the event was exciting. But since Fahrenheit debuted 2 years until today, the 4 members; Wu Zun, Jiro Wang, Aaron Yan and Calvin Chen have become injured soldiers due to heavy work load, and almost replacing health for success. Yesterday when the 4 watched vcr videos of their family giving them encouragement, thinking of their road of hard work, all couldn't hold back their boys tears, all crying together on stage.

Yesterday when Fahrenheit appeared, no matter if it was the media or the fans they were all shocked by Calvin seeing him as thin as a piece of paper. Calvin has already not filmed for a while, never thought he was originally 65 kg has become as thin as 60 kg, wrist was as thin as bamboos, he stood with a smile saying his stomach hasn't been well, always feeling bloated or in pain, but what is the cause of the problem, but they have to wait until the report comes out after the body check up.

And Aaron the rush filming of "Pili MIT", yesterday spoke on stage about the 2 surgeries he had for his knee, crying out of control. He said in the new drama, there are many action scenes, no matter how much pain he would continue to film, as a result when he went back to the hospital for a check up, the situation does not look good, afraid that they might have to do a 3 surgery, and seeing the warmth of the fans below the stage, Aaron crying in pain said: "I might not be able to play basket ball again, I don't know if I can keep it any longer..."

Wu Zun and Jiro have both suffered eye injuries. Wu Zun earlier because of filming hurt his eyes because of wearing the contacts too long and it cut the cornea, now during off screen he would wear regular glasses for protection. Jiro because his cornea became larger too long caused his to be too dry, now he can really wear contacts, but he's about 300 degrees, and not wearing glasses his eyes seem lifeless.

In this half year Wu Zun has had unknown headaches and yesteday he said: "I've really thought that because of all this stress I would live a few years less." After coming to Taiwan noboby has ever seen Wu Zun cry before, after seeing Wu Ba Ba appear on the vcr, he was trying to hold back his tears, then when Wang Ma Ma appeared, he turned around and said "I miss ma ma", finally he couldn't "Gin ㄍㄧㄥ" hold it longer, and said because he went to Taiwan to develop, he sacrificed his time with family, this has caused him with contradicting feelings, no matter how successful his career is, in his heart the sadness is like a needle piercing him.

At the scene, not only were there die-hard fans from Taiwan, there were even fans that came all the way from Hong Kong and mainland. Idol drama big sister's attraction definitely is something. At first, she was worried that the sales might not be too good but a lot of fans started waiting at the bookstore inside the mall since early in the morning and within a few hours, all 500 freshly printed books were sold out. Even this reporter who planned on buying a copy to have a chance to be a fan had no chance!

When asked about how the competing drama "They Kissed Again"'s female lead Ariel Lin is also releasing her book on travelling, Qiao En expressed that she quite admire Ariel and the two books are on different topics with different style, for fans, they will get the chance to own both good books that they put in a lot of efforts into writing. Nicholas Teo promotes New Album, Director Dou presents Leavened Cake

Taipei: The day before, Nicholas Teo held 《From Now On》Album Presale Autograph and Performance Event before Taipei Station. He rode an extended white cadillac ritual vehicle and under the guard of 4 dancers, entered the venue. Niu Cheng Ze (Director Dou) appeared as a guest's identity and presented 168 leavened cakes, wishing great sales for his album and "be prosperous continuously" (Yi Lu Fa - similarity in pronunciation).

Self rated 70% score for dance show

Nicholas Teo ended dashingly his first ticketed concert in Malaysia last week. He then rushed back to Taiwan to begin his album promotion tour. On the previous day, he rode a ritual vehicle rented by EMI Music and arrived at the event location. He felt fresh to ride such a long kind for the first time. He said, "When the car reached the porch to pick me up, there was a great 'Las Vegas' feeling."

During the challenge of new album, there is this pounding electro-music genre. For such purpose, Nicholas practised hard the "Dazzling Bright Outer Coat Dance". He lightly showed a part yesterday and it was his first time dancing in front of Taiwanese fans. Under their encouragement, the more he danced, the more high feeling he got. The fans also passionately responded. He said:「I give myself 70%, hoping that it will be good. Also wishing everyone will get used to seeing my new dancing image onstage。

"Hot Shot" Wraps Up Filming, Chun Wu and Show Lo a Couple? A Kissing Toast

GTV's "Hot Shot" had it's filming wrap-up party a few days ago. After 3 cups of "yellow soup" (alcohol), Director Lin He Long shared his afterthought of working with three big idols. He said that Jerry tries too hard, hope he'd relax, Show is very smart, but too confident at times, Chun's acting skills was better than in "Romantic Princess" but his Mandarin is just as bad as before.

Also, Lin He Long especially pointed out Show and Chun as the "Talk-Back Duo." He said, "They both love to talk back, Chun in 2nd place, and Show in first!" Upon hearing the director say this, Show immediately shared an embarrassing story of Lin He Long, "It was raining this one time when we were filming, I was holding an umbrella and the director yelled at me for being girly, but please, he [the director] was sitting there under a $5 million parasol/umbrella, that's even more girly than I am!"
He also said, "The director was really angry and threw the script, so I said, 'You're going to have to pick it up again.'" Chun revealed that because of the last experience working with him, he learned this time to run away to duck away from Lin He Long's cursing, he would arrive at the filming on perfect timing, "I'm here and there, so even when the director wants to yell at me, he can't, haha!"

It's been spread into the public that Chun is Show's girlfriend. With this rare chance of meeting each other, they were forced to play "tonsil hockey." Chun immediately went up and put his hands on Show's face for a forced kiss, but Show very shyly ducked away.

The two of them toasted each table, which made everyone joke that it was like "A groom and bride coming for a toast." Also, Coco Chiang has a habit of using heat packs, putting them under her arms and legs. So Show turned it into a comical tune.
Even though she was made fun of, Coco expressed to the director, "Director is just like a heat pack, warming my heart." Having been complimented by a beautiful girl, Lin He Long laughed and said, "Just don't put me under your arms or legs!" which had everyone riled up in laughter.

Jerry Yan to play Prince of Piano in new drama to be invested by Japan

It was reported that the new idol drama, Double Pianos On The Stars (Heng Xing Shang Di Shuang Gang Qin), played by Yan Cheng Xu will start filming next month. It has 20 episodes. Yan Cheng Xu's talent fee will be US$20,000 per episode (about NT$620,000) and it creates the new record among the idol drama male leads in TW. In the drama, Yan Cheng Xu will play a prince of piano. As Zeng Ke Xuan will be one of the female leads, the new drama seems like the tv version of "Secret".

After finished filming Hot Shot, Yan Cheng Xu will start the filming of Double Pianos... right away. In the drama, Yan Cheng Xu will play a talented prince of piano. He grew up with Zeng, but then he lost his memory after an accident. When he fell in love with another female lead, Guan Ying, he lost his ability to play piano as well.

For preparing for this drama, Yan Cheng Xu has put in a lot of effort for quite some time. Last year, when he stayed in Japan, other than learning Japanese, he also studied piano. For numerous times, he has expressed his fondness of piano and its sound, and since youth, he has admired the guys who can play piano. He even thinks that his long fingers are very suitable for playing piano.

Acutally, in the 2006-hk concerts, he has showed his piano skills. He also has a NT500,000, white grand piano at home, and coincidently the new drama can fulfill his dream. According to news, this drama is invested by Dentsu Advertising Group/East Japan, Inc, and investors from Mainland China and TW. Yan Cheng Xu's talent fee will be US$20,000 per episode, which is much more than US15,000 per episode for Hot Shot, and this breaks the record of the market price among TW's idol drama main leads.

Interestingly, in Jay Chow's movie, Secret, he also showed his piano skills and Zeng Ke Xuan was also part of it. Double Pianos On The Stars seems to be the tv version of Secret. Yesterday, Yan Cheng Xu's agent, Amy, refused to comment on the talent fee, and only stated that Yan Cheng Xu doesn't concern about talent fee much, and he cares more on whether he likes the script or not.

Three Kingdoms receives thumbs down by critics

In the past week, Daniel Lee's much anticipated Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon had been heavily promoted by its all-star cast including the likes of Andy Lau Tak Wah, Sammo Hung, Maggie Q and even pop singer Vanness Wu. Helmed by such big names, it was expected to be given an equally grand response by critics and fans alike. Unfortunately, even the film's star quality failed to impress many viewers, and that includes Lau's own fans.

Critics slammed Three Kingdoms as being "lacklustre", "aesthetically beautiful but astonishingly shallow" and containing fight scenes that were described as "confusing, blurry and stale" to "hilarious exaggeration of fast and slow motions". Fans of the Three Kingdoms novels were outraged and had a field day tearing the film's inaccuracies to pieces, while Lau's fans felt disappointed that his "regal and brilliant acting" was squashed by a poorly written script that was both boring and heavily lacking in character story. Critics who were given special viewing before Three Kingdom's day of release gave mixed responses, however, the majority delcared the film was a "hastily and poorly pieced together epic-wannabe that relied on its star power but failed".

There was also mention of Maggie Q's out of place pan-Asian appearance in an ancient Chinese pic and her noticeable synching of Mandarin lines while an alien voice patches over. Even her Hollywood status was not enough to impress the audience, with one citing her to be akin to a "mannequin" who often "liked to hiss and squint throughout" the film and lacked the required cunningness and brilliance of Cao Cao, her character's grandfather. A Maggie Q fan mentioned she was "a definate pleasure to the eyes", while another disappointed viewer claimed that was "all she had to offer" as her portrayal of a vicious general vixen was "nothing more than the same cold expression she always has" reminiscent of her acting in Die Hard 4.0 and Mission Impossible 3. The sexy actress was, however, given a nod in the right direction for her well executed action sequences.

It seems despite boasts of thousands of extras used to replicate the drama and glory of epic battle scenes, Three Kingdoms is all beauty and no substance

Shing Guang 2 Ban’s

During “I Want To Become Famous” <我要成名> dress rehearsal Fan Yi Chen (second right) kept on joking around, causing Annie Lin (first left) to keep on laughing.

Shing Guang 2 Ban’s Yuming Lai Ming Wei, Annie Lin Yi Ron, Rachel Liang Wen Ing and Uni Yeh Wei Ting will, for the first time, take part in stage drama “I Want To Become Famous – A Perfect World” <我要成名─美好世界>. Yesterday they had their first dress rehearsal, only Uni Yeh has acted in a stage drama before (N@H: She majors in acting or something…), the four did not try to cover how nervous they were. Especially gentle Annie Lin, who kept on laughing, only said: Having to stand on International Conference Center’s big stage, I feel very shy and a little not used to.”

Rachel Liang Wen Ing worries that because she is very short, on the stage it’s very easy to not be able to see, and is working hard to increase her own feeling of existence. Yuming Lai Ming Wei in ‘I’ <我>, will act out his own experience of working at a funeral home, and will also sing “Hypocritical” (口是心非), ‘If There is Still a Tomorrow’ (如果還有明天) and other songs, looks like he carries a heavy responsibility, but he said: “My dialog is very funny. Everybody please anticipate my performance.” Aside from singing with the rest of 2 Ban, he will also sing with Fan Yi Chen.

Shing Guang Bang Documentary, song copyrights costing $1 000 000

Film, “Shing Guang Legend” <星光傳奇>, in order to use the songs Shing Guang Bang sang during the competition spent millions to purchase copyrights.

The documentary “Shing Guang Legend” <星光傳奇> that has Shing Guang Bang as the topic, with everything included has invested approximately 7 to 8 million. This includes buying song copyrights, which actually alone spent near one million, giving the film company a lot of troubles and having a lingering fear.

Usually, in a film, any song that appears has to have copyrights purchased. “Shing Guang Legend” <星光傳奇> used competition songs as subject, in the film as much as 40 songs were used. Aside from the songs that became famous because of “One Million Stars” <超級星光大道>, ‘Bai Pan’ (Betrayal) and other songs, some songs only appear for one line but they still have to obediently buy the copyrights. Even more, lyrics and songs are sold separately. The song Jane Huang Mei Jen sang, ‘Kan Ching’ (Seeing Clear), because it appears both in the promotion clip as well as in the film has to count for twice the money. Rachel Liang Wen Ing sang an English song which was even more troublesome because it required permission from overseas and complex procedures to get copyrights. Some songs are even still in the process of discussing copyright issues. Looking at how the film schedules to come on the 18th, one can tell how much the film executive is burning with impatience.
