Actress Kou Shibasaki, 26, turned up at the premiere of her new film “Shaolin Girl” at Roppongi Hills, this week. The film is a lacrosse version of the popular film “Shaolin Soccer,” in which she plays a girl who tries to spread Shaolin kungfu in Japan through lacrosse. “It was a struggle at first and I felt I couldn’t do kung fu,” Shibusaki said. “But everybody involved in the film helped me feel relaxed. Once I concentrated on kungfu, my body gradually got used to the action.”
