"Honey and Clover's" exaggerated kicking and beating were being accused of copying from 'Nodame Contabile' by the netizens

CTS’s [Honey and Clover] will enter the idol series battle field this coming Sunday at May 25th. Before the premiere, CTS has been airing the previews diligently; scenes were airing like the scene in the manga like those exaggerating movements like kicking from the main casts, being lifted up and being thrown off and so on. The producer strongly ensured of following the original manga
With this accusation the producer Liu Wei Chi said that other that respecting and grateful to the comments from the netizen, she strong ensured that [Honey and Clover] is being filmed according directly from the original manga and there’s not plagiarism at all. About the series [Honey and Clover] being compare with [Nodame Contabile] she said happily: [If everyone thinks that the two series are very similar than that means that we have succeeded, because our production fund is only 1 quarter of their total production fund of the series. This can be considering as one of the recognition!] The production team also strong ensured that [This is only a few minutes preview, whether it is similar or not, let’s wait for the premiere to find out.]

The series [Nodame Contabile] is the latest series to use dummy and other special effects in order to provide the exaggerating scenes from the original manga. In [Honey and Clover] the one who received the most kick and beaten scenes will be Eddie Peng.
